One of you shows the QR code or sends the link over WhatsApp, Messages, or anything else, and the other joins. It expires in three minutes and works once.

What we don't do
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking. This site sets no cookies either.
- Your name and color go to your partner in real time and are not stored on our server.
- Special dates never leave your phone.
- Drawings are stored on our server so both phones stay in sync. They are not end-to-end encrypted, so don't draw passwords or anything sensitive.
- A board unused for 180 days is deleted automatically.
Questions people ask
Do we both need to buy it?
Each phone needs the app installed. The purchase is made on the App Store with the Apple Account of whoever downloads it.
Does it work long distance?
Anywhere with an internet connection: the same room, another city, or another country.
Do I need an account?
No. You pair with a QR code or a temporary code. We never ask for an email, phone number, or password.
Can anyone else join our board?
A board admits at most two phones. Once you both join, only those two devices can reconnect.
Are drawings encrypted?
The connection to the server uses TLS. Drawings are not end-to-end encrypted: the server can read them in order to keep both phones in sync.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. For now, Drawing with Love is for iPhone and iPad.
How do I delete everything?
In the app, Clear the board removes the drawings and Change partner removes the pairing from your phone. To delete a board from the server right away, email contact@drawingwithlove.com.
What if I want a refund?
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
